On 01/16/2013 Barry Soetoro (AKA Barack Hussein Obama) announced 23 items that he is sending to Congress regarding Gun Control. My responses are in red below :
Today, the President is announcing that he and the Administration will:
1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system.
I don’t really have an issues with making the data more available. However, those people that have Concealed Carry Licenses have already been background checked and ran through NCIS and have proven that they are not mental or have any felony convictions or misdemeanors.
2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.
The reality here is that Health Insurance has nothing to do with gun control. Making information available in the background on ones mental awareness is something that should be done right away. 99% of the law abiding citizens that apply for concealed carry and to purchase a gun are not mental at all and have never been to a doctor that has said they are. Quite simply put, barry is putting gun control and medical insurance on the same playing field. Having a doctor say you are mental keeps you from owning a gun and getting a concealed carry license. This is just part of their game. It’s called INFRINGMENT.
3. Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system.
Again, this is something that should have already been done. This is also another reason why we don’t need all these government agencies that cannot communicate with one another. I’m all for combining the departments and getting rid of the ones that don’t need to be there. Sharing of information for ones background should have already been done. But again, the problem is not with the law abiding citizens, it’s the ones that are cheating the system and coming across as law abiding citizens and causing problems.
4. Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.
This is set up for failure. Why? Because again they want to keep all law abiding citizens from obtaining guns. What constitutes a dangerous person? I think they need to work on defining that first before they just go saying someone is dangerous. Again, the American People are not terrorists, nor domestic terrorists and we need to stop putting the blame on the American People. We have a right under the US Constitution to live our lives in Tranquility, Peace and Harmony. This one world or UN one world agenda has made it criminal to be an American Citizen. This is why it is so very important that the People step up and fight back. Our forefathers done this and you see what happened. It’s time for the 2nd American Revolution and to keep this big government in check. This government has been allowed to spiral out of control and it’s time that we put the brakes on.
5. Propose rulemaking to give law enforcement the ability to run a full background check on an individual before returning a seized gun.
Why? So my gun get’s seized for whatever reason and they have the right and no probably cause to run a background check on me? I don’t think so. Again, this is more tyranny and it should be stopped. Look, if someone does something wrong and against the law and that is why they go their gun seized then sure having a look at their record before giving the gun back I don’t have an issue with. However, treating our people as criminals just because I have an issue with.
6. Publish a letter from ATF to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers.
I’m pretty sure that anyone who as obtained a FFL (Federal Firearms license) knows exactly what he or she has to do according to the law. Really people do you think someone would jeopardize their license and do something illegal? No. First off, it takes months of paperwork and waiting just to get the license and only so many are issued within a said area. I do not believe in more government, I believe in less. FFL’s know what they are doing and know that a background check is to be done.
7. Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign.
This is something that has already been done. As a child I took a hunters safety coarse. I learned about guns, saftey and of coarse how to hunt with my guns. Now that I’m no longer a child I’ve educated myself in how to tacitally shoot and don’t just use my guns for hunting anymore but in this day and time for security and protection from criminals and a tyrannical government. We already have programs in the works. If it were not for the brady campaign and the federal government telling us that guns are bad we would have more children learning about guns rather than telling them that guns are bad and to leave them alone. Instead we sell toy guns at stores and tell them it’s OK to run around and “shoot em up” instead. What kind of education is that? That’s right we have no education here in American, and since the days of President Ronald Regan they have dumbed down the American Society, or should I say deleberatly dumbed down America (http://www.deliberatedumbingdown.com/)
8. Review safety standards for gun locks and gun safes (Consumer Product Safety Commission).
Gun locks are used for transportation. If a gun inside someone’s home has a lock on it, it will do them absolutely no good should a criminal come looking and smashing windows in. Throughout my childhood my father always had his handguns loaded and always within reach. My brother and I were taught to never touch them unless he was present and we knew if we did that we would get our butts whipped. It worked. We grew up having respect for guns and that continues right to today. I don’t hind my handguns from my daughter, she see’s them and asks questions about them. I’m not hiding them from her. I will teach her properly and the government needs to stay out of my business and leave the parenting to me. I know what’s best for my child until such time that she can make her own logical decisions. Everyone should have a gun safe. Why? Because we all have to leave our homes at some point. We should have a way to protect our investments and not allow them to fall in the wrong hands should our homes be savaged by thugs while we are away. Just having a safe is not good enough though, it should be bolted down or to the wall so thugs cannot just walk away with it. This is all part of responsible gun ownership and 99.9% of gun owners are responsible. Get over it.
9. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal law enforcement to trace guns recovered in criminal investigations.
Ha! A joke right? The federal government can just put guns on the streets and into the hands of the Mexican Cartels but bring the hammer down on it’s own people right? WRONG! How are you gonna trace guns? If someone steals a gun the first thing they are going to do is break it down, take all the serial numbers off of it an wipe it clean. Tell me again how your gonna know anything about that gun? This is just more tyranny and trying to give more OK to a already developing police state. No one is afforded the protection of a police officer. The police do what they can do during investigations, however most of the time they hit a brick wall because criminals are smart, and Law Enforcement is about enforcing the laws and being one step ahead of the criminals but getting a gun and filing it down is the oldest secret in the book. Look, the federal government needs to focus on criminals. Not law abiding citizens. The government cannot even take drugs off the street but they think they are going to take guns off the street by putting more restrictions on law abiding citizens? Sorry that’s not the way it works.
10. Release a DOJ report analyzing information on lost and stolen guns and make it widely available to law enforcement.
Duh! This is not already done? Just what do we have all these police departments, and federal law enforcement agency for? This is a government screw up and because they have made it so big, they have made it impossible for sharing information that should have already been in affect. Shame on you government.
11. Nominate an ATF director.
NO! We already have too many federal government agencies and too many people in charge. This is where the breakdown of information has occurred. Merge these federal agencies together and make one or two people in charge. WE ARE NOT FOR MORE OR BIGGER GOVERNMENT but smaller government powered by WE THE PEOPLE.
12. Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations.
This is already in the works. Police departments around the Country are already and have already planned for these types of situations should they occur. However, with that being said, if someone in our schools are not properly trained then it does no good to provide “proper training”. We should arm our teachers. If they choose not to carry then the gun should be in a lock box in their classroom. The lock box would be connected to a main computer in the front office and anytime that box is unlocked, it alerts the entire school. Unless there is a problem, it should never be unlocked. In fact the children should not even know it’s there. We trust our teachers and the staff to protect our children. 25 years ago we did not have to worry about crazed gunmen breaking into our schools and shooting up the place. We do today! Therefore it’s the duty of our teachers and staff to protect our children. Do not teach our children that guns are bad, teach them that we live in a society today that has crazy people doing crazy things. Take away the guns and they will just find something else to use as a weapon. Our children should know that there are people out there looking to harm them. At home you encourage your child to play in the back yard right? Not to be out front unless a parent is with them because someone could come by and snatch them up right? Same concept with schools. Let’s not hide anything more from our children. Doing so just sets them up for failure. Concealed Carry is a great thing and for schools is perfect. Out of sight, out of mind. Do it, do it now, protect our children! Again, police officers are not afforded to anyone. Police work is REACTIONARY. Those that are on the front lines have to have a means of putting a stop to something terrible walking or crashing through the front door. ARM OUR SCHOOLS!!
13. Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime.
Again, DUH! This should have been happening all along. However, the federal government has failed. The NRA (National Rifle Association) though has stood up. They have been about preventing gun violence since they started. They have launched many programs to help children, adults to respect guns, how to use them effectively and more. The federal government does not like competition! Government is not the answer, we all have a responsibility to make this a better place and if WE THE PEOPLE were really in charge of their government like our Constitution say’s we are then this would be a better place. We have a duty to uphold the Constitution on each and every representative to include the President of the United States of America. With bigger government they are taking away the rights that we have to keep them under control. This is why we Patriots have been screaming for smaller government and for more power in the hands of the people. Prosecuting gun crimes is something they have been working on for a long time. Simply put, commit a crime with a gun that does not belong to you is a CRIME. Prosecute to the highest extent of the law.
14. Issue a Presidential Memorandum directing the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of gun violence.
You cannot be serious. Big government doing what they do best. The CDC is NOT the place for this. Gun violence is a result of people allowing issues to go unchecked. In today’s society, we sell toy guns, we have violent gun video games and we have violent gun movies in good ol Hollywood. This is the problem we face today. People think that what happens in a game or on TV that they can mimic it. THIS IS THE PROBLEM PEOPLE!!!! If you put toy gun manufacturers in check (because children need to know guns are real and they can hurt people when put into the hands of human beings) then you stop the whole oh but it’s just a toy gun, let the kids be kids. Absolutely not. We teach our children to respect people right? Then we should teach them that GUNS ARE NOT TOYS!!!!!!! We also should not let our children watch any of the violence that is on today’s TV. Many parents sadly let their children do whatever they want to do. THIS IS PART OF THE PROBLEM! Yes I’m saying that parents need to be better parents! Video games have copulated the lives of our children. Their grades in school are down, and their respect at home is horrible. We have so many low income families letting their children trample all over them and do whatever they want to do. They are the ones getting in trouble at school, being sent home suspended and getting angry and then getting it once they get home by angry parents. Is it any wonder that our children today have violent tendencies? Wake up America. Want better children? BE INVOLVED IN EVERY ASPECT OF THEIR LIVES. Lead by example not by what the government tells you you should be doing.
15. Direct the Attorney General to issue a report on the availability and most effective use of new gun safety technologies and challenge the private sector to develop innovative technologies.
This is not the answer. Making guns with biometrics and technology’s alike is not the answer. Again the NRA has been a huge proponent of Gun safety and technologies. The best one to use is your brain. That is the greatest one!
16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.
WHAT? This is the absolute most ludicrous thing I have ever heard in my life. So now the government wants doctors to start questioning whether there are guns in the home or not? NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS. This is called TYRANNY folks…..plain and simple.
17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities.
Duh. This is already in affect and in use every single day.
18. Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers.
Yeah and what will that do? Other than putting another person on the payroll that the schools don’t need. There are already more than enough resources in schools and those need to be utilized before we go hiring more people to do the job of someone that’s already doing it.
19. Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education.
Those plans are already there. The plans would be much better if CONCEALED CARRY were allowed. The Constitution gives us the right under the 2nd Amendment to bear arms. The government has kept us in tyranny by requiring us to purchase a license to carry. Then they go even further by saying oh but you cannot carry here or there. That’s called INFRINGEMENT and the 2nd Amendment say’s that the right to bear arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED! I’m not sure what part of that they or anyone else does not understand. All these college shootings, military base shootings are all in gun free zones. If we were to lift the gun free zones and allow law abiding citizens to carry concealed, then the death toll would not be as great should there be someone there carrying. We trust people everyday to do things all by themselves. WE trust them everyday to fly airplanes. Drive cars, drive garbage trucks, firetrucks, police cars etc etc…..there are a lot more dangerous things out there that people are doing on a daily basis that are way more dangerous than carry a gun concealed. Once again, out of sight, out of mind. Used only to protect ones self and the lives of others if jeopardized. What’s so hard about understanding this?
20. Release a letter to state health officials clarifying the scope of mental health services that Medicaid plans must cover.
This has nothing to do with gun laws. Nothing. This is health care and should not be included. This is just another way that barry soetoro gets his health care into every nook and cranny of our lives. TYRANNY.
21. Finalize regulations clarifying essential health benefits and parity requirements within ACA exchanges.
Again, has nothing to do with gun laws. Remove it.
22. Commit to finalizing mental health parity regulations.
Also a database of those with mental illness. Our veterans with PTSD ARE NOT MENTAL HEALTH PATIENTS. They do exactly what the government asks them to do. And because they do, they should be afforded the proper treatment and care under the federal government in every way shape and form. I would venture to say that 98% of the people with a mental illness have no desire to own a gun. In training for a gun, or a concealed permit, it would be very obvious that there was / is a problem and they would be denied. It’s the job of the government to have this database and it should be available to all FFL’s and NRA instructors teaching Concealed Carry Courses.
23. Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries Sebelius and Duncan on mental health.
Again more big government at work here. There are already people assigned and tasked with doing this work. Let them be the ones to accomplish it. The secretaries can certify it and get it out to those that need access to it.
Folks we live in a dangerous society today. The federal government has dumbed most of us down and are counting on that to take away all our freedoms and rights. Our forefathers fought with their very own lives to keep this tyranny at bay which is why they wrote the US Constitution the way they did, and why they had to go even further of adding Amendments to it. They could not see into the future but they could see far enough to realize that this or that could be a problem and that eventually history would come back to repeat itself. They wanted to protect us and what a wonderful job they did of it. However, today, the federal government has tread on this. They have signed on to a NEW WORLD ORDER and the elites of the world say what will and will not happen. The American People have laid down and told the government we will not fight. We need you to get back up off the ground while there is still time. Stand with the rest of us and support and defend our Constitution and Bill of Rights against all enemies both FOREIGN and DOMESTIC. The federal government in this case is our enemy and want nothing more than to destroy us. We cannot allow this to happen. These gun proposals are a result of many false flag events and planned coordination on the half of the government and elitists. We must put a stop to it. We must encourage smaller government. Remember, they work for us, not the other way around. Though if you look at us today, we not only work for them but we are slaves to the government and that is not how it’s suppose to be.
I will not give up my gun rights. I will not allow them to take mine and I will not abide by their tyranny, imposing regulations upon me that are afforded to me by my Constitution. I am American, I am part of the sleeping giant that has awakened. Join me and help me take back our Country from these evil people.
The Left / Right Paradigm wins again……
Right around 0200 in the morning on 1/1/2013 the United States Senate voted and passed the bill avoiding the fiscal cliff that has ran rampant for many days now. Sucking the life out of everyone the main stream media has been covering it and every time someone moved they went to a breaking story.
Fast forward to to night and finally the House of Representatives passed the Senate bill and completely avoided the dive off the ol fiscal cliff. So just what was in this bill and what did they compromise on?
- Higher taxes on 77% of households
- 3.9 TRILLION added to the deficit
- Hollywood gets a break – After a RECORD SETTING YEAR!
- NASCAR tax credit
- Millions for Rum makers & Railroads
- $430 million for Hollywood through “special expensing rules” to encourage TV and film production in the United States. Producers can expense up to $15 million of costs for their projects.
- $331 million for railroads by allowing short-line and regional operators to claim a tax credit up to 50 percent of the cost to maintain tracks that they own or lease.
- $222 million for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands through returned excise taxes collected by the federal government on rum produced in the islands and imported to the mainland.
- $70 million for NASCAR by extending a “7-year cost recovery period for certain motorsports racing track facilities.”
- $59 million for algae growers through tax credits to encourage production of “cellulosic biofuel” at up to $1.01 per gallon.
- $4 million for electric motorcycle makers by expanding an existing green-energy tax credit for buyers of plug-in vehicles to include electric motorbikes.
What’s missing here? Oh that’s right a tax break for you and I. Folks if you have not woken up yet you need to because we are in deep deep trouble. The United States of America is never gonna be like we remember it. They are trampling all over us and sadly many are just hiding out behind their computers talking big talk but doing nothing to help save us.
Our Country needs us. Our forefathers fought for us, and died for us and what have we done….NOTHING. It’s time for a Revolution my friends. The federal government is taking everything away from us to include our rights. A major attack is occurring on our 2nd Amendment (we will be doing a story on that soon) and the American people are sitting silent.
Either you get up and you do something about it with others or you do nothing and you end up stuffed in box cars and shipped to some FEMA Camp someplace. If you think that is far fetched, read up on it.
Do your part. Continue to write to your Senators and Representatives. WE THE PEOPLE cannot just sit idle by and let them railroad us anymore. The time is now, the lines have been drawn and it’s battle time.
